The Lake Of Fire YHN

DID YOU KNOW that we are supposed to “…pity some, making a distinction. But save others with fear, snatching (them) out of the fire, hating even the garment being stained from the flesh.” [Jude 22-23] How do we accomplish this? By giving them the Truth and explaining to them the urgent need for their repentance!

“For by fire and by His sword YHVH will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of YHVH shall be many. Those who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves to the gardens, (each) one in the midst, eaters of swine’s flesh, and the hateful thing, and the mouse, (these) are cut off together, says YHVH.” [Isaiah 66:16-17]

When one does not repent of his sins and accept the Y’hoshua HaMoshiach as the Son of YHVH, desiring with all his innermost being to live a life of obedience to the Word of YHVH, that person has made the choice to sanctify and purify himself. Therefore, by his rebelliousness he has already chosen to become his own sacrifice.

“How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy (to receive), the (one) having trampled the Son of Elohim, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was set apart, and having insulted the Spirit of grace (favor)?” [Hebrews 10:29]

“And they shall go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against Me; for their worm shall not die, nor shall their fire be put out; and they shall be an object of disgust to all flesh.” [Isaiah 66:24]

YHVH makes a distinction between the clean and the unclean, and the set apart and the profane. [From Leviticus 10:10] “And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire.” [Revelation 20:15]

The sacrifices placed on the altar in the Temple were pictures of Y’hoshua HaMoshiach. When a person sinned, to seek forgiveness for that sin he brought an unblemished, clean animal to the Temple to be sacrificed, and he himself (not the priest) had to slit the animal’s throat.

“And the fuel on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it morning by morning. And he shall lay the burnt offering in order on it. And he shall burn it as incense (with) the fat of the peace offering. Fire shall be continually burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” [Leviticus 6:12-13]

The fire burning continually on the altar also paints a picture of the ones who have chosen to be their own sacrifices. They will be tormented forever and ever in the Lake of Fire! What is even worse, can you imagine their eyes being continually upon the members of their family (their children, their husband or wife, mother and/or father) who are there with them in the Lake of Fire because of the influence they had upon their lives? Forever and ever, their suffering will be before the eyes of the one who professed to love them but gave them a lie instead of the truth!
