What Is The Name Of The Messiah YHN

DID YOU KNOW that the Messiah’s name is not “Jesus?”

In the Strong’s Concordance you will find that His name is Y’hoshua, the same Hebrew name as the Israelite leader Joshua. And what does the name Y’hoshua mean?

Y’HOSHUA: YHVH (PRONOUNCED: YAH-WHEY) IS HOSHEA (DELIVERER)

Think of it! The Messiah’s name means that YHVH is Deliverer. How clear everything becomes when you learn the meanings of the names. Example: Acts 2:21, “And it shall be that everyone who shall call on the name of the Lord will be delivered.” But then you go to Joel 2:32 (which is referenced under Acts 2:21), and it says, “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of YHVH shall be delivered…” That is when one realizes there is a lot more behind the title “the Lord” than previously believed.

For background on this name, please reference Numbers 13:16, ” . . . And Moses called Hoshea (Deliverer) the son of Nun, Y’hoshua (YHVH is Deliverer). Moses changed the name of the son of Nun from “Deliverer” to “YHVH is Deliverer,” the same name as the Messiah’s. And what did the Messiah come to deliver? He came to deliver salvation to all who would call on His name, which meant that they would be calling upon YHVH to deliver His salvation to them through their acceptance of the Messiah Y’hoshua.

In light of the above, look at the following Scriptures:

“I have come in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive that one.” [John 5:43]

“Y’hoshua answered them, ‘I told you, and you did not believe. The works which I do in the name of My Father, these bear witness about Me.’” [John 10:25]

“The (one) who does not love Me does not keep My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father who sent Me.” [John 14:24]

“And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred (and) forty four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads.” [Revelation 14:1]

“Then YHVH will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, (making) a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.” [Zechariah 14:3-4]

“And YHVH shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be — ‘YHVH (is) one,’ and His name one.” [Zechariah 14:9]

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give eternal life to them, and they shall not perish to the age, never! And not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand. My Father who has given (them) to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of My Father’s hand. I and the Father are One! [John 10:27-30]
